Can I use My Passport for Mac for PC and switch to Mac?

Hope everyone well here.:grin:

I purchased a WD My Passport for Mac 2T, last year, change the setting to save all my files on my old PC on it. Now My MAC is full and I want to use it, but I couldn’t find out how to switch to MAC without using old data!!!

Can you please help me, how can I use my WD for MAC without using old data?
