I have a My Cloud Ex2 Ultra and would like to back it up to another NAS device which is not a WD product. That is, I’l like to mount a share on the EX2 Ultra which is exposed by the other NAS device. Then backup to that share. Is that possible? The other NAS device cannot be mounted a USB drive on the Ex2 Ultra. It can only be accessed over the network as an exposed share.

There is no option to mount external shares from other network devices to use as a backup. My only option was to buy another USB external HDD enclosure and use it to connect my old drives to the My Cloud Ex2 Ultra.
