hi, I´ve just bought a WD elements to make back up of my outlook ( Office for Mac), but when I try to export the .olm file it does not copy telling this message: " error exporting data, no access to directory".
Hi carlositurrioz,
As the drive which you purchase is pre-formatted in NTFS file system, which is compatible with Windows OS. So, you can first reformat the drive to make it compatible with macOS. Afterwards, you can transfer the data from your computer to the external hard drive. Below is the link which helps you in formatting the drive.
Note: Formatting is a data-destructive process. Please make sure you have a data saved on some other location. Formatting the drive will erase every data from it which can’t be undone.
