Just installed My Passport for Mac, nothing backing up. Have shut down and re-started, still nothing.

Can you share what was the issue and how you solved it? so other users can read about your case if they encounter the same situation.
In time machine, had to de-select the G-Drive slim I had used and select WD Passport, then when opening the back-up, had to go to file that allowed access. That’s about all.
