I have a WD My Cloud DL4100.
I have attached a 4GB USB hard drive.
The purpose for this drive is to back up my DL4100.
I have found how to make backups and they work well.
How can I automate the backups so that I don’t need to manually start each job?
If you are using the front USB port and the USB backup button, then it’s intentionally designed to be a manual (Conscious) operation. An automatic backup can be programmed using the rear ports, and triggered upon connection. For additional information please refer to page 48 (54) of the User’s Manual.
