Audio cuts in and out randomly while playing video files. I noticed it some before i updated the firmware to Version 1.05.04_V, but now it seems worse. It seems to get worse as the movie gets toward the end. And if i reboot it fixes the issue for about 30 minutes or so, but then it starts doing it again. And it is not just one movie it seems to be any of them. Seems to be any format also. Please help. I am going to try and update the firmware to the latest version. Any ideas??? Please help.
I bought two recertified WD Live Plus players… one exhibited the same problem (intermittent audio drop-outs), the other did not. I RMA’d the one with the problem and they replaced it with a non-recertified unit.
Firmware updates did not fix my busted unit.
