There is an Android remote app for WDTV Live gen2, but what about gen1? whill there be remote app for gen1 in near future?

There are several remote control app for the WD TV Live Gen 1, they are not WD official thou.
I don’t like the B-Rad firmware and the latest one is based on an old firmware
And if WD has any plans on making gen1 support for their android remote I would rather use that.
