Amazon Web Services (AWS) Backup

Has anyone been successful setting up AWS as a Cloud Backup? I have tried several times today and so far get only a response of “Backup Failed.” I have an AWS account and bucket. I am trying to backup my WD SmartWare backup.

I suppose it may be overkill for a RAID 5 DL4100 NAS. But I am heeding the advice of folks on this and other NAS forums to backup a backup.
