Already own media hub but have Question looking for a def answer before i buy wd live unit

Ok i own the new live media hub and i also have the new wd elements 2tb harddrive connected to it. They work AWESOME together in my living room. I want to buy a wd tv live unit for my bedroom. i want to know if it will see and stream my movies over my home network from the live hub and the usb drive connected to it .

Any for sure info would be greatly appreciated before i buy another unit.

I don’t think you can through the USB connected drives (i’d have to double check, but pretty sure). I think it only streams the stuff on the internal drive.

The best solution is to get a 1 or 2 TB My Book World (WL) or My Book Live drive - it’ll be seen by both devices, and has plenty of storage to take advantage of.

Thanks for reply but just as a note with the live hub and my connected drive to it i can see both drives in my mac finder.  was hoping for the same as i do not want to stream from my computer just the live hub. And def dont want to add another drive to wd live unit if i get one.
