After updating the latest firmware for mycloud, it keeps sleeping

A month ago, I updated the latest firmware for MyCloud 3TB.
It was 6/1/2017. Since then, I am not able to use it anymore.
People tried to help me go through all the solutions, and I did them all.
It is still not working.
I wonder if there is any way to check if the hardware is malfunction.

Previous discussions, so we don’t repeat the same debugging again:

Hi,

Did you try performing a 40 seconds system restore?

Also, try connecting your My Cloud directly to the Ethernet port in your computer bypassing the router.

OF course, I did that.
The device just went to sleep.
I connect my computer directly to MyCloud and MyCloud still goes to sleep when I am waiting “updating”

It sounds like the OS has become corrupted during the firmware upgrade, causing it to hang some time into the boot.

any solution?

Search for the unbricking, or debricking guides.

Or, if in warranty, contact WD for an RMA.

I’m assuming you made no changes to PC or router, or network , and the problem arose only as a result of the attempted firmware upgrade. Was it auto-updated, downloading the file by itself, or did you download the firmware file manually, and install from the download location?

I’m also going to assume that you cannot access the Dashboard successfully, and the ethernet port LEDs are active.

I’m also going to assume that you cannot access the file server or media server that should be running on it.

It hasn’t gone to sleep, though, has it? Sleep has a pulsing blue LED, and can be woken by accessing the Dashboard.

It appears to have stopped responding.
