Acronis True Image for Western Digital

When setting up my backup on to my new NAS PR4100 (from my EX 4100) Western Digital recommended that I use Acronis True Image for Western Digital. It seems easy enough to set up and execute but my one concern (and it’s just me not being that technical) is that the backup file is in some proprietary format with a tib extension. I have always used Genie 9.0 for all of my backups and I can continue to do so. I have always set them up as type mirror. The thing that I like about Genie is that the backup destination has the file structure and filenames identical to the source. In other words I don’t need to restore data via Genie (although I could).

Anybody have experience with Acronis True Image for Western Digital? It appears to be an OEM version that Western Digital provides free.
