Accessing data backed up on Windows on MyPassport

Hi,

I was using an external mypassport on my PC and it has a lot of photos. However, my PC died and I connected it to my MacBook Pro which has 10.9.2 and updated the software. and it has 1.3.6.1.

However, when I go to Retrieve tab, I dont see the files from my old PC.

When I go to finder on the mac, I can navigate to the directory where the files were, but I dont see the files.

Please help…

If you go through the finder, you should be able to see the files on the drive on the folder for the WD Smartware.

My recommendation on this case is to connect the drive to a windows computer to check if you really have the files on the drive.
