I got a PR4100 which has 4X2TB Drives
However while checking my RAID profile:
RAID Volume
Volume_1
RAID 5
5.94 TB
So i got just 5.94 TB available. How come I dont have almost the 8 rather than the 6?
Because RAID5 uses one of the disks as a redundant disk. So you get the full capacity of 3x2TB.
If you want all 8 TB, you’ll need to use JBOD or RAID0.
