40 Second Reset

Hello,
I have a question about 40 Second Reset:

I have turn off device, press and hold the reset button and during it I reconnect the power cable. Still pressing reset button wait for 40 sec. and release reset button and nothing happening… When I read an instruction from WD:

it’s seams that unit will reboot automatic when I release reset button. On my side - nothing that happening. Also when I type this option by the .local manager WWW page - there is 0% complete and I leave this on all night and nothing done.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong, I need reset all device settings and restore it to fabric.

You should try to refer below link to reset My Cloud in Factory Default Settings. This process may take several hours to complete.

Note: This is a Data Destructive process and may not retrieve after deletion.
