I set up my external drive (My Book Essential) using a pc however now that I’m connected via a Mac I no longer have permission to write files. It seems a simple problem however all I can do is ‘Read’ files.
Can someone please advise where and how to adjust settings to I have write permisson?
NTFS (Windows) is a read-only file system on Mac OS systems. In order to write to your drive in a Mac OS system you’ll need to either re-format your drive to a Mac-compatible file system like HFS+, or download a compatibility app for NTFS hard drives.
