Hi, i really hope someone can help.
My aging Worldbook has died, when power is plugged in the blue ring occaisionally flashes once and the the ethernet amber light is ON but thats it. No response to the power button.
Has anyone seen this before?
I’ve removed both drives and this makes no difference, I’ve measure 12V on the main PCB and the 5V rail to various IC’s appears to be up and running. 5V is present on one side of the front panel switch and the switch works.
So it looks like the enclosure has died, does anyone know if the drives can be put in a later edition unit to recover the data, I had it configured as a RAID array so two 500GB drives giving 500GB storage.
Any help appreciated as Im getting it in the neck for loosing our photos!!
