Wireless router & wireless USB adaptor

I have WD TV Live Plus – Am thinking about going wireless – looks like the thing is very picky about which router & USB adaptor you can use. Anybody have advice on which ones they have had good luck with?

Can’t see how it can be picky over which router you use, if the settings are right it will work.

My wireless adapter in the WD is a belkin F5D8053 v3

my router is a Netgear custom modem/router supplied by my internet provider.

I have been using a Netgear WNDR3700 V1 and a Cisco/Linksys WUSB600N V2 wireless adapter since August. No problems at all, works great. With this combination you can dedicate the 5GHz radio to video, and the 3700 will give priority to video streaming.
