I am using a Linksys WUSB600N with a Netgear WNDR3700 router. Connection without WPA2 security is no problem and installs just as shown in the manual. But I want to secure my network, and that is where the problems start. No way to connect. I am really disappointed. And hope that Western Digital will come up with an update that solves the problem
WPA2 works just fine; that’s what I’m using on my Live… The issue must be somewhere else…
I also use the WUSB600N, but with a Linksys E3000 router.
just make sure you use only standard letters and numbers in your wpa2 passphrase
I have been using a Cisco/Linksys WUSB600N with a Netgear WNDR3700 router for over six months now. I have been using WPA2-PSK (AES) security for the whole time and I can confirm that it works correctly.
I have same problem anything other then WEP selected and i cant get the DNS
My config is working now. I had some trouble with registering the password, it is somewhat peculiar. But nevertheless it is working now. My advice would be to havea look again at your settings.
