Hello,

I wanted to know if there’s such a product like a media box that I can plug into the TV so that I can wirelessly stream a movie or music from my computer. For example, I want to watch a movie on the big screen but I don’t want to have to haul my laptop out and connect 2-3 wires so that I’m able to watch it. I want a product that will allow me to bring whatever’s on my laptop screen or PC screen to my tv screen wirelessly. What would be an added bonus is if I could multi-task - for example, I’ll have a movie playing on my laptop that I’ll watch on the tv screen but I can adjust the screens on my laptop so that I can do some work on the computer. Hope this all makes sense… thanks for any help! :slight_smile:

Nothing from WD does this…

NetGear has a product that does that…   But very few TVs support it.

Most new laptops come with HDMI out, now.  You could consider that.  Then all you’d need is an HDMI cable.  Or, you can use your VGA out on your Laptop.  Most flat screens come with a VGA input now, also.
