I know this has been discussed a million times but I have tried all the recommended fixes and they are not working.
I am currently using firmware 2.01.86. Running net view and nbtstat give me the following:
Is it a problem that WDTVLIVE is not listed under net view?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Yes, that’s indicating some problem.
What happens if you do
nbtstat -a (ip address of your WDTV)
I get the following message when I enter nbtstat -a (ip address of my WDTV):
C:\Users\Matt>nbtstat -a 192.168.1.6
Local Area Connection:
Node IpAddress: [0.0.0.0] Scope Id:
Host not found.
Wireless Network Connection:
Node IpAddress: [192.168.1.2] Scope Id:
Host not found.
C:\Users\Matt>
I assume this means there is some problem with my network that I need to sort out.

Yep; and I would start with the question: Why are you using BOTH Wired and Wireless at the same time on your PC?
