does wd elite automatically back up outlook or windows mail folder? if not is there a way to do that
WD Smartware software bundled with your WD Elite drive will automatically back up your mail.
As long as the outlook mail are saved to a local hard drive.

Other (items saved on the desktop)
You can verify this info when you run the WD Smartware
go to BACK UP
click on the arrow next to the DETAILED VIEW.
