New to this network drive lark…!

Set up MBL 2tb with vista laptop…everything ok

Wife has a windows 7 laptop which I am trying to set-up also,installed software etc and can access dashboard via WD smartware icon but I an unable to tranfer files via windows explorer… just get the message…\MYBOOKLIVE is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Have set up this user having full access so why can’t I write data to the MBL from this computer…?

Might be a dumb question, but, is she actually logging in to the share as the user you created on the MBL?

You get this message as soon as you click on the open button on the MBL or on the  MYBOOKLIVE icon under network on the navigation tree on the left of the screen
