Windows 7 doesn't recognize my 2tb external hard disk

Yo anyone on the community:

If anyone can help a simple mortal like me, i followed all the steps printed on the users guide, but my hd didn’t appeared, so i registered thinking it would be sufficient, but it didn’t, so i entered the wd community, so maybe some kind soul can help me solving my problem with my wd hd.

Does the drive show in Disk Management? If so make sure it has a drive letter and is online.

If the drive does not appear in Disc Management what needs to be done?
