I am getting a new pc with Win 7. Is there a way to transfer my files via my passport, or do I have to erase my passport drive, transfer files exclusive of the my passport software to it as a ext. hard drive, and load them on my new computer?

the drive should work on Windows 7 as well…
the only reason why it will not work if it is like ten years old :smiley:
