Wanting to replace my Showcenter 200 with the WDTV - I have some HD .mkv files I wish to play and downscale to a SD tv, will the WDTV do this through the composite output?

I have the Lexicon on SD piping out all the video to my 2xtvs. I still haven’t taken the HD plunge yet, although have routed an HD cable with built in repeater thru the house.
Currently working on getting ALL my favourite shows on my 2TB RAID mirrored drives so I have my own TV channel, no adverts. trailers and no junk TV shows .:smileyvery-happy:
