Why is trim enable?

I got a WD10EZRX installed, I typed this at command prompt: fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify. And the reply is this: DisableDeleteNotify=0. Why is trim support enable for a WD10EZRX, which is only for SSD?

Hi, I have no idea why trim is enabled in this drive, as you mentioned is for SSD and SSHD which this drive is neither. I would recommend you to contact support, maybe they’ll have some information on this.

Both my Windows 7 PC’s have trim enabled by Default (I did not enable it, the Win7 OS did) … which definitely benefits my main PC running an SSD … the other PC the setting will have no effect.
