Which version of WDCloud do I have?

Apologies if I’m not in the right part of the forum:

My firmware is listed in the MyCloud dashboard as

Current Version WDMyCloud v04.04.04-101 : Core F/W

Does directly this mean it is a Gen 1 or 2 model? If not how would I find out? The “Gen” gets mentioned in lots of posts here.

If your single bay My Cloud uses v4.x firmware it is first generation.
First gen is end of support and cannot be updated to OS5.
Second gen single bay My Cloud units, which use OS3 v2.x firmware, can be updated to OS5.
