Today when I reinstalled my “WD My Passport”, I noticed that the software support has expired. There are a lot of new tools and SW. First I installed “WD Discovery” WD Backup, WD drive Utilities, Dashboard and Acronis for WD. My question: which tool is essential and which is superfluous? Because it doesn’t have to be that many apps. PS: Can I manage the backups with Acronis full version instead of Acronis WD?
