I was just curious as to where the EX4 goes from here. With the recent problems fixed what is WD going to do with it now. Besides releasing a few fixes the product (entire line up for this matter) is stagnate!\ in regards to features and changes.
WD does not release information about future updates or enhancements for any of the drive lines.
Reading between the lines, I think I understand what your asking. My gut tells me this unit is sorely underpowered and won’t be fully developed like the Synology products. I like you, am disappointed with the feature set and development of this product.
