Hello I’m trying to access my 6tb My book live duo through its usb port. It has a full size usb port, but I can’t find any inforamtion on wether it uses a straight through or cross-over usb cable. Thanks

The purpose of the USB port on the back of the “My Book Live” is so you can connect an external USB hard drive in order to extend the capacity and copy files from the “My Book Live”. The USB cable needed for this is a standard USB 2.0 or 3.0 cable.
If you want to connect the “My Book Live” directly to your computer you can do it with a Ethernet cable.
