Well, this is a fun turn of events.
I upgraded to the latest firmware, and every morning I found my WDTV was no longer feeding a video signal to HDMI. I know it was still running, because I could still get audio when I hit play.
Restarting the entire box would bring the picture back, but it was annoying, so I rolled back the firmware as per WD instructions.
It’s still happening. Now, I can find myself losing the picture in the middle of the day, while watching something. What am I supposed to do with this thing now?
