What formats does the my book live support?

I can’t seem to find out and as it can’t be partitioned I am just curious.

I want to use it on my mac and a pc.

It doesn’t matter.  You can’t format it on your Mac or PC.  It’s an internal file system used only by its own operating system.

It’s using EXT4 the last time I looked.

Thank you for your reply. What does that mean in respect of FAT32 and HPS+ formats and it being compatible with macs?

Sorry I am new to all this

Not a thing.   The internal file system of a NAS is irrelevent to a network client.

Thank you very much
