Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB 3.5" Hard Drive

Hi all, I bought this drive as a USB external which let me down after approximatelly 14 months. I stripped it down, installed it into my tower computer as a slave drive and was able to read it.  I’ve been using it as an internal drive since up to about a week ago when it let me down a second time.  I’ve tried everything I can think of to get into it again (like a fool I’ve not got everything backed up elsewhere) but to no avail.  Does anyone have any suggestions for any software that might help me to recover my data? Cheers,

Hi, using Google you should be able to find several data recovery programs, also try running a DLG test to see if the hard drive has any hardware damage.

Also consider contacting any of the data recovery partners on the WD support page. Some of them offer a free evaluation of your drive.
