Western digital Account change (country )

I just registered an account in WD support forum. I mentioned the country name as UAE. I do reside in India and UAE , now my registered products are showing out of region.

When i went to the account settings there is no option to change the country .

Which seems to be surprising as people do relocate,

Please assist as i want to make my account back to India

Hi Hamlet and team ,

Thank you so much for replying, what are the options avaialble for me.

  1. Create a new account with india as the region and register old products ( but i am concerned that a product can be registered twice on two accounts)

  2. Change the existing account from UAE to India, ( please note that products i purchase are from india and if an RMA becomes needed that will also be in India)
