I just purchased this drive and will install in a Dell Dimension 2350 which is currently running WIN XP sp3. My goal is to partition the drive to two volumes one for the the Dell and the second for an older HP Pavillion which is running WIN 98 thus creating a dual boot system. My question is what is the best way to proceed in ghosting the two existing drives to the new one. I understand that the WIN 98 partition should be loaded first.
So you want to use the one HDD on two different computers ? That’s a first for me, guess the win98 install has o be done first on the older PC, then do the install on the newer PC and hope it puts a boot menu on it with a usual delay of 30 seconds.
