I opened my Mac Book pro and the application for the WD external drive began to open then close, open then close, repeatedly. I couldn’t turn off the MacBook or force quit. I was finally able to use Clean My Mac 3 to uninstall the software for WD. I do not want to attach the drive again. Anyone with similar experience and solution?
