WDTVL+ won't read Western Digital 2TB USB 3.0 ext drives?

I just bought this:

and formatted to NTFS in a single partition. It works great from Windows 7, however, my WDTVL+ won’t read it?

Any suggestions?

I thought this model would work because it’s the same brand. I know it says for Mac, but I reformatted it in Windows 7 to NTFS.

You need to update the firmware on the WDTVL+, support for drives over 2TB was added on firmware 1.05.04_B
