Pandora works well. File management is well done. Wireless support works well. The media server support is ok but the UMSP type internal media server idea really is a better idea. The device shares media and you can playto from a remote PC (windows 7). It turned my old HDTV into a networked HDTV. My wife can use it ; by herself! The custom firmwares are great but not simple. Simple is good.
After all my hacking and moding I’ve come to the opinon that the original firmware is sound!
The WDTV-live is not a PC and my expectations should not be the same as a PC, linux or otherwise.
