Guys I’ve spent a year trying to fix this and it turns out that Mac Lion disables Samba and this is why you get “no media in the current folder”. You need to click on the link below and follow the instructions exactly. This works! No more loosing your media server 30 minutes into a movie or “no media in current folder” for network share.
