wd tv would not reconise anything l that was put  ontto  2 of the hard drive via netowork even after rescan

So i reseted it to factory settings hoping to fix this problem,

 Though my concern is how come my old wd elements 1tb is taking for ever to compile media data?

Do older hdd take longer  then newer ones etc?

also for australian users what is the latest with abc iveiw?

It should not make a difference with older and newer drives although i would like to know if you tried checking to diagnose if it might have any issues.
