Wdtv audio setup help!

I have just taken delivery of my wdtv media player (2nd gen) and I am having difficulty in obtaining  sound through my AVR.

I have purchased a Toslink digital optical lead to connect with my AVR but no sound!

Is there something fundamental that I have missed?

I  have also set the unit to digital,

Has anybody had the same problem?

I had the same problew until I went intothe WDLIVE settings and set the audio to DIGITAL, that oughtta fix you right up

IT’s too bad we don’t have a chatroom this could be fixed in two minutes
