Well I have an external hard drive western digital WDT-D2B and removable diskappears to me, only in Device Manager (Disk Management) but says it is write protected, is there any way to fix it?

Can you post the exact drive model and if possible a screen shot of the error you are encountering.
What OS are you using and was this drive used on another PC?

I´ve got windows 7
it looks like you damaged your partition. if you don’t need the data that was on the drive, you can download dlg diagnostics, install and write zeros to the drive. that should wipe out the bad partition and allow you to reformat the drive.
