Hello, I’m running a windows 2008 EE server at home.
Is it possible to run WD Sync as a service? I have realized that anytime I logout of windows, my wdsync stops.

Unfortunately, the application does not feature an option to allow syncing while logged-out at the time of this post. It runs on a per-user basis with individual credentials as a session-specific application as opposed to a system-wide service.
