WDS100T2B0B in M.2 not showing up in disk management

Hi -

I don’t see my SSD in disk management.

OS: Windows 10
MB: MSI B450M Pro-M2

The drive is connected to the M.2 port. I made sure I had the latest drivers.

WDS100T2B0B shows up in device manager…

…but doesn’t show up in disk management.

Went to Windows or macOS Cannot Find My Drive (answer 12455) and instructions said the drive needed to be formatted.

Then went to How to Partition and Format a WD Drive on Windows and macOS (answer 8200) and instructions said that I need to format the drive using Disk Management. The answer suggested the drive might not be initialized.

I also checked How to initialize or write a signature to a secondary hard drive or Solid State drive in Windows (answer 18824), which describes how to initialize the drive with Disk Management.

How do I get Disk Management to recognize the drive?

Thanks

Did you ever resolve this? I am having the same issue with my SN750

So the ssd was not compatible with the motherboard slot it was in. I had to purchase a new ssd that was compatible.
