I’ve just installed a DNS monitor on my network and have noticed that my WDMyCloudEx2100 is trying to access www.wd2go.com a lot, approximately half a dozen times every fifteen minutes or so.
I’ve got all the wd cloud services disabled, so am wondering why the NAS keeps accessing this site. Any body got an ideas?
Bump. I too have noticed this behavior. I have on older My Book Live Duo. I’ve never seen it do this in the past, but in the last few days, every 15 minutes or so the drive accesses web.wd2go.com. I sure hope it’s not sending any personal data. I think maybe I should just block the domain to stop this unauthorized access.
