WDMycloud not shown on my PC anymore

I am new with setting up WD Mycloud. I managed to set it up according to the WD instruction. Today after I changed my Wifi appearance in my DIR 850L Dlink router (from visible to Invisible), not only my Wifi now not shown (which I want), but also the WDMycloud not shown in my Explorer (I want it shown). Did I do it wrong? how do I get the directory WDMycloud appeared back on my PC? It’s still there becuase I can access from it remotely by my I-phone.

Hi Etupes,

Thank you for your response, what I meant is: In the router setup/ Wireless Setting I unchecked the option to show my SSID (network name) among the WIFI internet access network in the neighbourhood.

After I did that, I think the WDMycloud Drive mapping was probably was changed, now I can’t see it in Windows Explorer/ Network. Any ideas why?

The reason is not clear, but it has nothing to do with your SSID being broadcast or not.

Did you try to reboot the NAS?
