I am struggling for many days with my newly purchased 3TB WDmyCloud. it can be hardly connected (Have to restart it several times) it works for few minutes then disconnect. it is slow (I connect it directly to the latest linksys gigabit router), I notices it is always hot and a sound of “Hard disk Drive access” can be felt when you touch it all the time even if it is not used at all. I am very annoyed and disappointed. I tried to run the test it reached 10% and stopped. is does not sleep even after enabling the sleep mode. is the heat and the continous hard disk access sound is normal ??? please help.
