I got the wd black 10 tb portable hard drive for my xbox one. Ive downloaded lots of games. I just got the new Xbox series X and none of the X/S games will work on the hard drive. Everything must be downloaded on console. Do I have to reformat the WD black D10 for it to work with series X? This was the portable hard drive recommended for the series X console. Any help appreciated.

I did a chat with technical support. He could not help me. He suggested I contact Microsoft about the New Xbox. The whole reason I got this 10 TB hard drive was that it was supposed to work well with the new Xbox series X and S. The Xbox is telling me the software cannot be run fast enough from the hard drive to work. Very frustrating.
