WDBAAU0020HBK-01 white power light comes on briefly, then goes out

I have a wdbaau0020hbk-01 hd. when powering up, white light comes on for a second, then  off. No power, computer does not recognize it. I switched out power adapter cord, same result. Hard drive had been working fine.

Check if it’s recognized on the disk management window.
