WDBAAF0020HBK-00 no upgrade firmware

G’Day, i’ve a My Book model WDBAAF0020HBK-00
with already installed firmware revision 1030

I try to upgrade firmware with WD Firmware Update utility, but no update is availlable. (the utilty report: firmware already updated).

My problem is: with firmware version 1030 not is disabled VCD. I need to disable VCD and to make this operation, need to update firmware at a more recent release.

So, anyone can help me?

Yes, i’ve try with WD SmartWare Virtual CD Manager for Windows-v1.0.7.4
but the utility, after found the mybook, tell me about need to upgrade firmare before to attempt to change status of VCD.

I’ve try also directly with smartware software, but the vcd status into tools option is greyed and not available.

So, i need to upgrade firmware but WD Firmware Update utility tell me: firmware already upgraded.

exist a way to force the firmware upgrade to the latest availlable?
